Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a night shift travel contract at a Level 2 Trauma Center in Jersey City, NJ, requiring both circulating and scrubbing skills along with robotic and ENT experience.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room of a Level 2 Trauma Center
• Patient mix includes all OR specialties except open heart surgery, including ortho, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro
• Robotic and ENT surgical experience required
• Must be able to both circulate and scrub
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• On-call required twice per schedule
• Charting system: Epic
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of current acute care OR experience required
• Proficiency in both circulating and scrubbing required
• Robotic and ENT surgical experience required
• Experience in ortho, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro OR cases required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two current professional references required

• Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
