Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position at an academic medical center in St. Louis, MO, requiring strong neuro skills and Epic proficiency.

Details

Neuro ICU unit within a 356-bed non-profit, research and academic medical center in St. Louis, MO
Tertiary care setting serving the east Missouri region, affiliated with a major university school of medicine
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
Every other weekend required
Floating required to ICU, TCU/PCU, and all hospital care areas within scope, including the ED for admitted ICU and TCU/PCU holds
Charting via Epic (experience required)
Onsite garage parking at no cost to the traveler

Requirements

Active MO or Compact RN license required
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Strong neuro nursing skills required
Epic EMR experience required
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

Academic teaching hospital environment affiliated with a university school of medicine
Must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Navy blue scrubs required
