Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer specializing in pediatrics, with ARDMS certification and experience in congenital and acquired pediatric cardiac disease.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting in a dedicated pediatric echo/cardiology unit
- 3 echo rooms with an average of 8 visits per day
- Patient population ranges from neonates to adults, with a focus on congenital and acquired pediatric cardiac disease
- 5x8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- On-call required approximately once every 8 weeks
- Holiday coverage required as scheduled
- Floating required within the specialty, to other units, and to sister facilities within clinical scope
- 12-week contract
Requirements
- ARDMS certification required, including RDCS (AE) and RDCS (PE) credentials
- Current BLS required
- Experience with pediatric echocardiography, including neonatal through adult populations
- Experience with congenital and acquired pediatric cardiac disease required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform echocardiographic studies across a pediatric patient population, including neonates, with diagnoses encompassing congenital and acquired cardiac conditions
- Scrubs provided for OR cases; any pediatric-appropriate scrubs may be worn in non-OR settings
