Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Georgia, working night shifts in a LDRP setting with at least one year of recent L&D experience required.

Details

• Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit with 5 LDRP rooms and 10 bassinets
• Facility performs approximately 210–230 deliveries per year
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Some weekend and holiday coverage required
• 13-week assignment with possible extension
• EMR: Cerner; Fetal monitoring system: PeriWatch

Requirements

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate (or Advanced) Fetal Monitoring Certificate
• Minimum 1 year of recent L&D experience required
• Nursery (Level 1–2) experience required
• Proficiency in newborn care, postpartum care, IV starts, medical screening exams, and vaginal exams
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Royal blue scrubs are required and are not provided by the facility
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• Minimal to no time off (RTO) is available during this assignment
• Previous travel experience preferred but not required
