Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract in Corsicana, TX, requiring 2+ years of OR experience across multiple specialties including robotics and orthopedics.

Details

• Day shift position, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:30 PM (5x8 schedule)
• 13-week contract in a hospital Operating Room setting
• Multi-specialty OR covering general surgery, endoscopy, robotics, orthopedics, and some vascular procedures
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• On-call required one day per week (3:30 PM–6:30 AM) and one weekend per month on a rotating basis
• No block scheduling and no floating required
• Paper charting used for documentation

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience required, with experience across multiple specialties
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• No RTO blackout dates; RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• No local travelers will be considered (50-mile radius rule applies)
