Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a critical access hospital in Vermont, requiring active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

• Critical access hospital setting
• Med/Surg Telemetry unit serving adult, pediatric, orthopedic, and observation patient populations
• Day shift with varied scheduling
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Vermont or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications required to be active prior to contract start date, or a booked course must be confirmed at the time of clinical orientation
• De-escalation training required, active prior to contract start or with a booked course at time of clinical orientation
• Experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing required

Additional Information

• Provides age-specific, direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in accordance with departmental and specialty-specific standards
• Assumes leadership responsibilities including delegation of tasks to other staff levels
• Must maintain compliance with applicable state and federal healthcare laws, regulations, and policies
