Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for an inpatient position focused on acute and chronic neuro/musculo/skeletal conditions, requiring at least 1 year of experience and active OR licensure.

Details

Inpatient rehabilitation setting within a general hospital environment
Treats patients with acute and chronic neuro, musculo, and skeletal injuries or conditions affecting physical mobility and functional independence
Services include sports and orthopedic rehab, neurological and stroke rehab, balance therapy, and spinal therapy
Day shift with varied scheduling
Position may require travel to multiple points of care within the facility or system
13-week contract

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
Current, unencumbered Oregon PT license required (license required if applicable)
BLS (Healthcare Provider level) required
Ability to travel to multiple points of care

Additional Information

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients experiencing declines in physical mobility or functional independence

Schedule was atrocious especially night shift. Significant amount of floating to the ER as helping hands or a sitter.
