Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Illinois, requiring an active IL RN license and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.

Details

• Hospital Emergency Department setting serving a combined adult and pediatric patient population
• Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Fixed schedule working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights
• Floating is required for all travelers, within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
• No on-call responsibilities
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required — pending licensure is not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC — all must be active at time of consideration
• AHA and Red Cross certifications accepted; RQI AHA cards are not accepted
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Local candidates are accepted
• Former permanent or PRN employees of the Memorial Hospital System must have been separated for at least 12 months before being eligible to apply as a traveler
• Travel pairs are not accepted
• Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• RTO is ideally limited to no more than 5 days; requests beyond that require facility approval
• All RTO requests must be disclosed upfront at the time of consideration
