Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with OR experience for a 13-week medical imaging assignment in Rapid City, SD.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital Medical Imaging - X-Ray department, with the majority of time spent in the OR
• Patient population includes inpatient, outpatient, ED, OR, NICU, pediatric, vented, and sedated patients
• Imaging types include whole body, musculoskeletal, neuro, and portables
• No fluoroscopy procedures required (e.g., lumbar punctures, GI studies)
• Equipment includes Carestream portables, GE rooms, and GE C-arm
• Average of 15–20 patients per day
• Charting systems: Epic (preferred) and Sectra
• 40 hours per week on varied shifts as needed
• Weekend rotation and call expectations are discussed during the interview
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active ARRT certification and current BLS required
• State license required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of experience considered; 3 years preferred
• OR experience is required
• Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required
• Proficiency with C-arm required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
