Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Long-Term Care (LTC) position at a Rehab & Nursing Center in New York, with experience in LTC, rehab, or med/surg settings required.

Details

• Work setting is a 300-bed Rehabilitation and Nursing Center
• Long-term care (LTC) unit
• Patient population includes Alzheimer's and Dementia residents
• Medication administration (med pass) is a core component of the role
• Evening shift: 5x8-hour shifts, 2:30 PM – 10:45 PM
• Every other weekend required
• 16-week contract

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• COVID vaccination required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• LTC experience preferred; candidates with rehab, med/surg, or other recent hospital-based experience will also be considered
• Ability to reach compliance within 1.5 weeks of offer
