Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of independent scanning experience for a 13-week travel contract in New York.

Details

Hospital-based MRI department serving inpatient, ER, and outpatient populations
MRI scanner in use is the Siemens Espree
Epic EMR is used at this facility
Monday through Friday evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
No holiday or weekend requirements

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of independent MRI scanning experience required
NYS ARRT registration with injection license required
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
Ability to scan independently alongside an imaging aide, without another MRI technologist
License required if applicable

Additional Information

Responsible for scanning inpatient, ER, and outpatient cases independently
This role operates with an imaging aide rather than a second MRI technologist, requiring a high degree of independent clinical judgment
COVID vaccination card required for consideration
