Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, prior travel experience, and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) proficiency.

Details

Work in a 21-bed CVICU at a hospital setting
Adult patient population (18+) with conditions including ARDS, pneumonia, withdrawal, and cardiogenic shock
Patient ratios of 1:2
12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekends required
Floating to Stepdown and Emergency Room (ER) as needed
EMR: Cerner
Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) experience utilized on unit

Requirements

Active RN license — TN license or compact license required and must be currently in hand at time of consideration
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
Prior travel nursing experience required
Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) experience required
CVICU or comparable critical care experience required

Additional Information

Schedule is determined by the unit
Navy scrubs required
Interviews conducted via IVS with offer extended by the manager
