Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring prior travel experience and an active Massachusetts RN license.

Details

Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting
Day shift schedule: 7:00am–5:30pm, 4x10-hour shifts per week
Block scheduling is not allowed
On-call responsibilities required every 5–6 evenings through 7:00am the following day, and every 6th or 7th weekend
Must be flexible and adaptable to scheduling needs
Epic EMR experience required
13-week contract

Requirements

Active Massachusetts (MA) RN license required; NURSYS verification report showing all licenses (past and present) required for consideration
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience required
Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
Two recent Supervisor or Manager references in a matching specialty required for consideration
Driver's license with address matching demographics required for consideration
Flu vaccine required during flu season

Additional Information

Orientation is conducted bi-weekly
Any color scrubs are permitted
Must be available to work every other major holiday
RTO must be submitted at the time of consideration; requests cannot be accommodated after confirmation — no more than 5 days of RTO permitted
Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be subject to a local pay rate
First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
