Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week outpatient rehab assignment at a hospital-based clinic in South Carolina.

Details

• Hospital-based outpatient rehab setting, located off the main hospital campus
• Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No on-call or weekend requirements; holiday coverage may be required
• Candidate may be required to float to meet facility needs
• Charting is performed in Epic
• Free parking available on site

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• SC Physical Therapist license or Multi-State Compact PT license required at contract start; license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required (AHA accepted)
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must submit all RTO requests at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs
• Previous permanent or PRN staff at any location in the MUSC system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• Required orientation modules are completed prior to the start of the assignment
• Charcoal gray scrubs are required
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September
