Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring a minimum of 1 year of dedicated CVICU experience and Epic proficiency, with night shift availability.

Details

Work in a 36-bed CVICU at a hospital setting
Targeted patient ratio of 1:2
Works with telemetry monitoring, drips, and ventilators
Shift: Nights, 7p–7:30a (4x12-hour shifts); both 36- and 48-hour weekly contracts available
Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
Travelers are first to float at the health system's discretion, within medically appropriate specialty clusters
Floating may include multiple campuses within approximately 15 miles of the main campus
EPIC experience required

Requirements

Active OH RN license or compact RN license (not required to be in hand at time of signing)
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
Minimum 1 year of dedicated CVICU experience required
Must be able to read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips
Experience with A-lines, ventilators, drips, sheaths, dialysis, and drawing ABGs required
EPIC EMR experience required
Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
Travel nursing experience preferred
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

Navy blue scrubs required
Must pass an online EKG telemetry competency assessment prior to starting the assignment
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
RTO must be submitted at the time of initial application; no RTO requests will be accepted after an offer is made, and approval is at the manager's discretion
