Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Care/PCU Night Shift position requiring an active Oregon RN license and recent acute care experience.

Details

Hospital-based position supporting the Interventional Care unit, with additional PRN support for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and ED Boarders as staffing needs arise
Patient population includes cardiac progressive care, ED, and ICU/coronary care patients
Night shift schedule: 1900–0730
Occasional weekend shifts required
13-week contract

Requirements

Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license currently in hand
Current BLS (Healthcare Provider level) and ACLS required
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience required (ED, PCU, or ICU)
High school diploma or equivalent required (per College of American Pathologists CAP requirements for moderate complexity testing)

Additional Information

Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to provide safe, age-appropriate direct and indirect patient care within the scope of the Oregon State Board of Nursing
Additional duties include data entry for billing purposes and logging case data into the department's digital archive
This facility strictly adheres to all posted job requirements and will not make exceptions for certifications, experience, or licensure
