Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Care/PCU Night Shift position requiring an active Oregon RN license and recent acute care experience.

Details

  • Hospital-based position supporting the Interventional Care unit, with additional PRN support for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and ED Boarders as staffing needs arise
  • Patient population includes cardiac progressive care, ED, and ICU/coronary care patients
  • Night shift schedule: 1900–0730
  • Occasional weekend shifts required
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license currently in hand
  • Current BLS (Healthcare Provider level) and ACLS required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience required (ED, PCU, or ICU)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required (per College of American Pathologists CAP requirements for moderate complexity testing)

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to provide safe, age-appropriate direct and indirect patient care within the scope of the Oregon State Board of Nursing
  • Additional duties include data entry for billing purposes and logging case data into the department's digital archive
  • This facility strictly adheres to all posted job requirements and will not make exceptions for certifications, experience, or licensure
