Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for an 8-week travel contract, performing general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and more across a multi-age patient population including pediatrics through geriatrics.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting working in the X-Ray department
• Patient population spans all age groups: pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric
• Responsibilities include general X-ray, portable X-rays, fluoroscopy, DEXA, Pain Clinic, and OR imaging
• Documentation system: Cerner
• Evening shifts, either 4x10-hour (3:00 PM–11:30 PM or 1:00 PM–11:30 PM) or 5x8-hour, with occasional overnight shifts possible
• Work every third weekend
• 3–5 on-call shifts per month required
• Holiday rotation required

Requirements

• MA state license required (license required if applicable)
• ARRT (R) certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
• Experience with general X-ray, portables, fluoroscopy, DEXA, and OR imaging preferred

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Scrub color is open to any color, no denim material; OR scrubs are provided when working in that setting
• Travelers must cover tattoos, maintain a natural hair color, and remove facial piercings while on assignment
• All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required, along with a full 7-year work history with all gaps explained
