Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position at an academic medical center, requiring a MO or Compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.

Details

• Night shift position, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Placement in the Adult ICU with secondary float to Med Surg
• Every other weekend required
• At least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract must be worked
• Academic/large hospital setting
• Cerner charting experience preferred

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licensure)
• Current certifications: BLS and ABLS
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year of ICU experience
• ICU experience in a large facility or academic medical center required
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Ability to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs

Additional Information

• First-time travelers with solid ICU experience at a large or academic facility are welcome to apply
• Floating is required, with primary float within the Adult ICU cluster and secondary float to Med Surg
• Cerner charting experience is preferred but not required
• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible but may be subject to a reduced travel pay rate
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration
