Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Tech with 2+ years of experience in a hybrid interventional lab setting, including STEMI and interventional radiology experience.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital with 216 staffed beds
• Hybrid interventional lab performing interventional radiology, pacemaker implants, and cardiac cath procedures including a STEMI program
• Daily caseload of 10–15 cases per tech
• Procedures include balloon angioplasty, stents, filter placement, left/right heart catheterization, peripheral upper and lower extremity IR procedures, and pacemaker implants
• Cerner EMR (preferred)
• 5x8-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• On-call required as needed
• No floating within the facility or to sister facilities

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• STEMI experience required, with a minimum of 500 hours
• Interventional radiology experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Scrub and monitor skills required
• Experience with balloon angioplasty, stents, filter placement, left/right heart catheterization, and peripheral upper/lower extremity IR procedures
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Active, non-pending state license required if applicable
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions accepted)
