Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an IMC (Intermediate Care) travel position requiring at least 2 years of experience, including critical care or telemetry, with night shift availability and weekend commitment.

Details

• Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) in a hospital setting with 27 staffed beds and an average daily census of 12–16 patients
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00–07:30)
• One shift per week must be on Saturday night
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius
• Block scheduling requests are not accommodated
• Charting is performed in Epic

Requirements

• Active OK or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, EKG Course/Telemetry certification, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with current critical care or telemetry experience
• At least 1 year of prior travel nursing experience required
• Valid driver's license or state-issued ID and a utility bill in the traveler's name with a matching address dated within the last 3 months are required for consideration
• Two supervisory references required
• Copies of certifications required for consideration
• Permanent address must be more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Additional Information

• Provides intermediate care nursing to telemetry and step-down level patients
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; no holiday or blackout date RTO requests will be accepted
• First-time travelers are not eligible — a minimum of 1 year of travel experience is required
