Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Intermediate Care position on an Acute Care/Rehab unit, requiring at least 1 year of pediatric acute care experience and strong trach and vent skills.
Details
- Position is on the 5D5E Acute Care/Rehab/PCU unit of a pediatric hospital
- 12-hour night shifts
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active AR or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required; additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, TNCC) may be required based on unit
- Minimum 1 year of acute care pediatric nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Strong trach and vent experience is required
- Must be able to pass a fit test; facial hair is not permitted unless for religious beliefs
- Must be nicotine-free
- At least 1 professional reference from within the last year required for consideration
- Specialty skills checklist required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provides intermediate care-level nursing to pediatric patients in an acute care and rehabilitation setting
- No holiday RTO will be approved
- COVID vaccination is not required
