Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Intermediate Care position in an Acute Care/Rehab/PCU unit, requiring prior travel experience and strong ventilator and tracheostomy skills.

Details

• Position is located in an Acute Care/Rehab/PCU unit (5D5E) at a pediatric hospital
• Pediatric patient population with complex respiratory needs including tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patients
• 12-hour night shifts
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AR or Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required; additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, TNCC) may be required based on unit
• Minimum 1 year of Acute Care Pediatrics experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Strong ventilator and tracheostomy management experience is required
• Must pass a fit test for respiratory protection; facial hair is not permitted unless for religious beliefs
• At least 1 professional reference from within the last year required for consideration
• Specialty skills checklist required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides intermediate care nursing to a pediatric population with acute and rehabilitative needs
• No holiday RTO will be approved
• Candidates must be nicotine-free
• COVID vaccination is not required
