Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Intermediate Care position in an Acute Care/Rehab/PCU unit, requiring prior travel experience and strong ventilator and tracheostomy skills.
Details
- Position is located in an Acute Care/Rehab/PCU unit (5D5E) at a pediatric hospital
- Pediatric patient population with complex respiratory needs including tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patients
- 12-hour night shifts
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active AR or Compact RN license required
- BLS certification required; additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, TNCC) may be required based on unit
- Minimum 1 year of Acute Care Pediatrics experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Strong ventilator and tracheostomy management experience is required
- Must pass a fit test for respiratory protection; facial hair is not permitted unless for religious beliefs
- At least 1 professional reference from within the last year required for consideration
- Specialty skills checklist required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provides intermediate care nursing to a pediatric population with acute and rehabilitative needs
- No holiday RTO will be approved
- Candidates must be nicotine-free
- COVID vaccination is not required
