Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Surgical Trauma ICU (STICU) position at an acute care hospital in Georgia, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Details

Works in a Surgical Trauma ICU (STICU) within an acute care hospital setting
Patient population includes surgical, post-trauma, burn, orthopedic, cardiovascular surgical, neurosurgical, and complex oncological cases; medical ICU overflow patients may also be placed in this unit
Experience with CRRT, dialysis, and open heart recovery is highly desirable
Day shift, 12-hour shifts
17-week contract
Charting is performed in MEDITECH
Cancellation policy allows up to 12 hours every 2 weeks

Requirements

Active GA or compact RN license required
Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Strong surgical ICU background required; trauma experience preferred
Driver's license required for consideration
Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

Candidates who have been employed by the facility within the last 12 months are not eligible for placement
Any time-off or scheduling requests must be submitted prior to the start of the assignment
