Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT or ARMRIT certification for a weekend-only position in Corpus Christi, TX.

Details

Hospital-based Imaging MRI department
Weekend-only schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM
On-call required Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Level I or Level II hospital experience required
Performs routine and advanced MRI procedures
Uses PACS system for image storage and archiving
13-week contract

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical MRI setting
MRI certification from ARRT or ARMRIT required
BLS certification required (AHA only)
Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent
Basic computer proficiency required
Level I or Level II hospital experience required
License required if applicable
SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced MRI imaging procedures and support other imaging technologists as needed
Responsible for MRI safety screening of patients and staff
Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance issues and escalate malfunctions to appropriate personnel
Participate in QA processes and resolve image processing and PACS archiving issues
Expected to float to other shifts or campuses as needed
Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
