Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an LTAC position in St. Louis, MO, requiring vent/trach experience and active MO or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital setting
• Unit: Chronic Care (LTAC/Telemetry)
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• 16-week contract

Requirements

• Active MO RN license or compact multi-state RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only; RCIS and RQI certifications are not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent LTAC or relevant RN experience required
• Vent and trach experience required
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to deliver safe patient care, applying critical thinking and clinical judgment, delegating to and supervising assigned staff, and maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education
• Candidates who have previously worked at any Kindred Hospital facility in a permanent or contract role must disclose the facility name, dates worked, and reporting manager
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
• Any requested time off within the first 3 months of the assignment must be disclosed upfront
