Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at a 25-bed unit in Kentucky, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and night shift availability.

Details

25-bed Med/Surg Tele unit in a hospital setting
Patient population includes inpatient, observation, and swing bed patients
Patient ratio of 1:6
Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
Every other weekend required
No on-call or floating to other units required
CPSI EMR experience preferred but not required

Requirements

Active KY RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele nursing experience required; 3 years preferred
Experience with inpatient, observation, and swing bed patient populations
Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Two professional references required for consideration
