Description

American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with at least 2 years of inpatient rehab or hospital experience for a 13-week travel contract at an inpatient rehabilitation facility in Nashville, TN.

Details

Inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) setting with 40 beds dedicated to severe injury and illness recovery
Patients include those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries
Speech Therapy department
Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Weekends on request
13-week contract

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Inpatient rehab or hospital experience required
AHA certifications required
Valid and unrestricted SLP license — license required if applicable
SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

Provide assessment and treatment for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries
Deliver customized, intensive rehabilitation tailored to individual patient needs throughout their recovery journey
Focus on maximizing patient health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs
Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
First-time travelers will be considered
