Description

American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with at least 2 years of inpatient rehab or hospital experience for a 13-week travel contract at an inpatient rehabilitation facility in Nashville, TN.

Details

  • Inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) setting with 40 beds dedicated to severe injury and illness recovery
  • Patients include those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries
  • Speech Therapy department
  • Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Weekends on request
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Inpatient rehab or hospital experience required
  • AHA certifications required
  • Valid and unrestricted SLP license — license required if applicable
  • SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide assessment and treatment for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries
  • Deliver customized, intensive rehabilitation tailored to individual patient needs throughout their recovery journey
  • Focus on maximizing patient health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs
  • Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
  • Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
  • Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
  • First-time travelers will be considered
