Description
American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with at least 2 years of inpatient rehab or hospital experience for a 13-week travel contract at an inpatient rehabilitation facility in Nashville, TN.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) setting with 40 beds dedicated to severe injury and illness recovery
- Patients include those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries
- Speech Therapy department
- Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Weekends on request
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Inpatient rehab or hospital experience required
- AHA certifications required
- Valid and unrestricted SLP license — license required if applicable
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide assessment and treatment for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries
- Deliver customized, intensive rehabilitation tailored to individual patient needs throughout their recovery journey
- Focus on maximizing patient health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
- First-time travelers will be considered
