Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with night shift availability and every-other-weekend commitment.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department (ED) of a hospital setting
• 13-week travel contract
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Schedule includes weekdays with a minimum of every other weekend (EOW)
• Holiday coverage is required
• Option to flex to 4x12 schedule if needed and available
• EMR: Meditech (experience preferred)

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS — all must be through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required; 3 years preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• CPI/CIC certification is preferred; travelers who extend beyond 3 months may obtain CPI on-site
• First-time travelers will be considered for candidates with 3 or more years of ER experience
