Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Critical Care Float Pool ICU position at an academic medical center in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and proficiency with Epic.

Details

• Critical Care Float Pool position within a large academic medical center in Ohio
• Nurses float across multiple ICU units based on staffing needs and patient acuity, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, and NCCU
• Floating is required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Weekend day shift: Saturday, Sunday, plus one weekday per week
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (36 hours/week)
• Epic EMR proficiency required

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• IV start, telemetry, and ventilator management experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred

• Role involves providing critical care nursing across a variety of ICU settings with varying patient acuity levels
• No break-in-service required between assignments when changing representation at this facility
• All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years are required for consideration
