Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an ER Holding/Med-Surg position at a Critical Access Hospital in Minnesota, requiring ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.

Details

• Critical Access Hospital setting with duties split between the ER Holding unit and Med/Surg
• Primary ED experience is required, with cross-training to Med/Surg
• 13-week contract
• Primary night shift with day shift rotation; 12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00 / 19:00–7:00)
• Every third weekend required
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active MN RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of ED/Med-Surg experience required; 5 years of ER experience strongly preferred
• Charge nurse experience required
• COVID vaccination required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experienced travelers only — first-time travelers will not be considered

Additional Information

• Candidate must be capable of taking charge nurse responsibilities
• Local candidates will not be considered for this position
• RTO must be submitted at the time of initial consideration — requests will not be approved after an offer is extended
• Maximum of 1 week of RTO allowed for the duration of the contract
• Candidate cannot take every holiday off — holiday coverage is expected
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
