Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience and active KY or compact licensure.
Details
- Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting, caring for MS/Tele and observation patients
- Patient population includes short-stay MS/Tele and observation patients
- Patient ratio of 1:6 or 1:7 (may fluctuate with census)
- Night shift schedule, 7p–7:30a, available as 3x12 or 4x12 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required within scope of practice
- Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
Requirements
- Active RN license — KY state or compact license required
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Tele or Telemetry nursing experience required
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

- Orientation is scheduled on a bi-weekly basis
- 13-week contract
