Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in West Virginia, requiring 2+ years of experience and an active WV or compact RN license.

Details

Med/Surg Telemetry unit in an acute care hospital setting, currently in an expansion phase
Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6, subject to fluctuation based on census
Charting via Meditech EMR
Floating required within scope of practice
Every other weekend required
Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated

Requirements

Active WV or compact RN license currently in hand
Current certifications required: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Minimum 2 years of current Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
Valid driver's license required for consideration
Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

Orientation is scheduled on a bi-weekly basis
The 75-mile radius rule determines eligibility for this position
