Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring 2+ years of current experience, a WV or compact license, and availability for every-other-weekend shifts.

Details

Med/Surg Telemetry unit in an expanding hospital setting
Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6, though ratios may fluctuate with census and call-ins
Meditech EMR in use
Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3x12 or 4x12 hours per shift)
Every other weekend required
Floating required within scope of practice
Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated

Requirements

Active WV RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
Current certifications required: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Minimum 2 years of current Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
Valid driver's license required for consideration
Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

Orientation is scheduled bi-weekly
13-week travel contract
