Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Med/Surg unit (5C) position requiring an IL RN license and Epic EMR experience, working night shifts in a hospital setting.
Details
- Work on a dedicated Cardiac unit (5C) in an acute care hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- Epic EMR experience required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active IL RN license in good standing (temp license accepted)
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
- Provides direct patient care to a designated group of cardiac patients using the nursing process
- Completes initial patient assessments, develops and modifies individualized care plans, and implements nursing interventions
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation to support the healthcare team
- Contributes to peer development and participates in ongoing professional learning
- RTO not to exceed 7 days for the duration of the 13-week contract
- Candidates who have been on continuous assignment at this health system for 1 year must take a 6-month break before returning to any location within the system
