Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week travel contract.

Details

• Work in an Interventional Radiology unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Procedures include stroke thrombectomy, embolization, kyphoplasty, fistulagrams, arteriogram with intervention, venogram with intervention, dialysis access, venous access, Y90, chest port placement, nephrostomy tube placement, PTC, G-tube placement, and TIPS
• Uses Philips Azurion; proficiency with Philips and Siemens equipment platforms required
• Ultrasound used for arterial and venous access
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call required, including some weekends

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
• ARRT (R) certification required; VI credential preferred but not required
• Current BLS required
• SC or Compact state license required; license required if applicable
• Proficiency with Philips and Siemens equipment platforms required
• Ultrasound experience for arterial and venous access required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
