Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a MS/Oncology Telemetry (Stepdown) position in Cincinnati, OH, requiring ACLS and oncology experience, with night shift and every-other-weekend scheduling.

• Located on the C3 MS/Oncology Stepdown unit
• Adult and geriatric patient population (ages 18 and older)
• 12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Oncology experience preferred
• Epic EHR experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• Proof of address required for consideration (acceptable documents: driver's license, voter registration card, federal income tax return, Military Form No. 2058, or W-2 from the US government)
• Full SSN and DOB (MM/DD) required for consideration
• 1 supervisory reference required for consideration
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, developing and implementing plans of care, administering medications, and coordinating care across hospital departments
• Clinically manages patients with multi-system conditions using hemodynamic monitoring and advanced respiratory modalities
• Manages care of patients with chest tubes and administers conscious sedation
• Pass/fail EKG/dysrhythmia exam administered on the first day with two attempts allowed; a study guide will be provided
• Local candidates (permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility) are not accepted for this position
