Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week travel assignment in a comprehensive stroke program IR unit.
Details
- Work in an Interventional Radiology unit with 3 IR suites: 1 monoplane and 2 biplane rooms
- Unit is part of a Comprehensive Stroke Program
- Nurses assist technologists in IR rooms
- Call rooms are available on site
- Day shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- May be required to float to different units or facilities within a 35-mile radius based on staffing needs, patient census, and acuity
- Travelers will always be notified prior to their scheduled shift if a float assignment is required
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
- ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification (AHA required)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA required)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required (Group A updated yearly; Groups B–F updated every 2 years)
- License required if applicable
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

- Two professional references required
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Full SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
- Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced rate depending on proximity to the facility; radius rule mileage varies by state
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required
