Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment at a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma hospital in Alaska, requiring an active AK RN license and on-call availability.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within a Cath Lab unit
- 407-bed Magnet-designated facility, Level II Trauma Center, and USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska
- Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- On-call required: 1 day per week and every 4th/5th weekend (Friday 6:00 PM – Monday 7:30 AM)
- Approximately 1 Saturday per month as part of the regular 4-shift weekly schedule
- Floating may be required to EP or IR within scope
- Epic EMR; experience required
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Free parking available
Requirements
- Active Alaska (AK) RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- All travelers may be expected to float between facilities within Alaska; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Only 1 RTO request will be considered per 13-week assignment; all time-off requests must be submitted prior to or at the time of offer
- Scrub color is provided by the facility
