Description

American Traveler is hiring an Inpatient Rehab Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a day-shift position at a specialty rehabilitation hospital in Victoria, TX.

Details

Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting in Victoria, TX
Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
One weekend of coverage required per month, with flex days
Amp Care experience preferred but not required
8-week contract

Requirements

Current, active Texas OT license required; proof of license or proof of pending license submission required for consideration
Minimum 1 year of OT experience
Current BLS certification required
Outpatient PT, ADL, and stroke rehab experience is highly beneficial

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Local candidates are accepted
Any requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial consideration and will not be approved after an offer is extended
Candidates cannot take every holiday off
Call-outs must be reported with more than 24 hours of advance notice
Solid-color scrubs and closed-toe shoes required

2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required
Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required
