Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position in Hot Springs, AR, requiring L&D specialty experience and key OB-specific certifications.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital Women's Services unit with 7 beds dedicated to Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and well-baby care
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and neonates
• Patient ratios follow AWHONN standards
• EMR systems used are GE Centricity and Meditech
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No call or on-call requirements
• No floating requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in Arkansas or a compact state currently in hand
• Current AHA certifications required
• Current AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• STABLE certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates and consideration
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
