Description

American Traveler is hiring a Special Procedures / IR Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital in Dulles, VA, requiring 2+ years of cardiac catheterization scrub tech experience.

Details

  • Combined Cath Lab and IR unit at an acute care hospital in Dulles, VA
  • 1-bed procedure unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
  • Unit is staffed with 2 RNs and 2 techs
  • Procedures include cardiac catheterization and IR procedures
  • Equipment includes INNOVA, Assist, and MacLab systems
  • Documentation via Meditech and MacLab
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (0730–1600 operational hours)
  • No nights, no weekends, and no call requirements
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a cardiac catheterization scrub tech
  • Allied candidates must have at least 6 months of active experience within the last 6 months in this role
  • Active ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
  • Current ARRT or applicable allied imaging certification required; license required if applicable
  • SSN (US only — no Canadian SSN) and DOB required for consideration
  • One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible — no exceptions
  • Hospital-issued scrubs provided
