Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position at an accredited STEMI center in Utah, requiring active UT or Compact RN licensure and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Acute care cardiac cath lab setting performing cardiac catheterization, intervention, IR, and neuro thrombectomy procedures
• Accredited STEMI center
• Day shift, 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM–5:00 PM or 7:00 AM–5:30 PM)
• On-call required every other weekend and a few evenings per week
• Charting system: Epic (used in this position)
• Phillips imaging and Merge Hemodynamics/CPACS equipment used in the lab
• Single-lab unit

Requirements

• Active UT or Compact (NLC) RN license — must be active at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Current AHA certifications: BLS and ACLS — pending certifications not accepted
• A copy of your driver's license is required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates; driver's license is used to verify permanent address
• Candidates may not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
• RNs at this Arizona/Utah CommonSpirit facility must pass the Relias Dysrhythmia exam before an offer can be confirmed — contact your recruiter to have the exam sent to you
• A pass/fail sterile technique test (Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes) is administered on the first day of orientation
• Travelers are expected to float within the zone they are hired into and are responsible for securing housing that allows them to meet this requirement
• 13-week assignment with 12 hours of orientation
