Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with at least 1 year of experience for an acute care outpatient radiology setting in Hagerstown, MD, with fluoroscopy experience required.

Details

• Outpatient radiology department within a neurosurgery and spine clinic setting in Hagerstown, MD
• Performs fluoroscopy-guided spinal intervention procedures including lumbar epidural injections, cervical injections, and standard AP/lateral views
• Average of 15–20 studies per day
• Single-room radiology department using GE equipment
• Epic EMR and PACS system in use
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
• No floating to other areas required

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• Active ARRT (R) certification required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Active Maryland (MD) state license required — must be in hand at time of consideration
• License required if applicable
• Fluoroscopy experience required
• Experience with GE imaging equipment preferred
• Drivers License required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform fluoroscopy-guided spinal procedures and standard radiographic imaging in a neurosurgery and spine clinic environment
• No radiologist on-site; position does not require IV starts
• Orientation details will be provided upon placement
• Scrubs required; color/style details to be confirmed
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from this WVU Medicine facility to be eligible
• Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before being considered
• Travelers may not work within the WVU Medicine system for longer than one cumulative year before a 2-year break is required
• 2 references required for consideration: 1 supervisor reference and 1 peer or additional supervisor reference; if the candidate worked a permanent position within the last 12 months, one supervisor reference must be from that facility
