Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring 2+ years of telemetry/PCU/stepdown experience and an active WV or compact RN license.

Details

Inpatient PCU/stepdown unit in a hospital setting
Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6, subject to fluctuation based on census and staffing
Meditech EMR
Day shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30), working 36 or 48 hours per two-week pay period
Every other weekend required
Floating required within scope of practice

Requirements

Active WV or compact RN license required
Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry, PCU, or stepdown experience required
Valid driver's license required for consideration
Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

Orientation is conducted on a bi-weekly schedule
Blocked scheduling requests cannot be accommodated
