Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 13-week outpatient/rehabilitation contract in Galt, CA (Stockton area) with a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Requirements

• Active CA Physical Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Degree in Physical Therapy required
• Proficiency with EMR systems for evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries
• Proficiency in ICD-10 coding and familiarity with PT billing procedures (Medicare, workers' comp, private, auto, liens, cash pay)
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, assist with patient transfers, and remain physically mobile (sitting, walking, prolonged standing) throughout 8–10 hour shifts
• Strong computer skills required, including typing, Microsoft Word, and internet use
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

• Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, developing rehabilitation programs, and guiding all aspects of patient care and follow-up
• Position involves supervising PT Assistants and Aides

• Must maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all applicable federal and state regulations
• Continuing education is preferred
