Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position at an acute care facility in California, with Epic EMR experience required and night shifts on a 13-week contract.

Details

• Acute care hospital ICU setting
• Average daily census of 4 patients
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required (2 out of 4 weekends), with weekends defined as two consecutive days Friday through Sunday
• Floating between all facilities within the state is expected and required
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required; pending CA license accepted
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience
• BLS certification required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment; all RTO requests must be submitted upfront prior to offer
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Scrubs or business casual attire acceptable
