Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 13-week travel assignment at a 536-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital, with first-time travelers welcome to apply.
Details
- Short-term acute care teaching hospital with 536 total staff beds
- Day shifts, 5x8 hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Block schedule required, working Saturday through Wednesday
- Weekend coverage required on Saturdays and Sundays (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
- On-call required approximately 3 shifts per month
- Charting performed in Epic (experience required)
- No floating within the unit, but all travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of X-Ray Tech experience required
- Current and applicable state license required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply for this position
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Scrubs of any color are accepted; OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided
- RTO should be minimal — any time-off requests must be disclosed prior to submission, as post-offer requests may be denied
- No parking fee at this facility
