Description
American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an inpatient rehab assignment at a 536-bed acute care teaching hospital, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation unit within a short-term acute care teaching hospital with 536 staffed beds
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00am–5:00pm), Sunday through Wednesday schedule
- One weekend day required per week
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- Travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of SLP experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Current and applicable SLP license (license required if applicable)
- At least 2 supervisory references covering a minimum of 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Scrub color is open (any color); OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- RTO is expected to be minimal; all time-off requests must be disclosed prior to submission, as post-offer requests may be denied
- No on-call required
- No parking fee
