Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in a hospital radiology department, requiring at least 3 years of experience with CT and diagnostic X-ray imaging.

Details

• Work in a hospital radiology department
• Perform CT scans, diagnostic X-rays, and CT Angiography, with some coverage in X-ray and potentially OR C-arm use
• 36 hours per week, scheduled as either 4x9-hour or 3x12-hour shifts
• Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with flexibility required to maintain a consistent schedule
• Overnight coverage may be available for interested candidates
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• Experience with all diagnostic X-rays and CT imaging, including CT Angiography
• Experience with OR C-arm use preferred
• Current ARRT certification and BLS required
• Valid Driver's License required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Flexibility in scheduling is essential, though the facility makes every effort to maintain a consistent weekly schedule
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during the consideration process
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (in Maine or New Hampshire) are considered local and may not be eligible for travel pay rates
• Local candidates are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
• May be required to float between facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed
• Use of earbuds, laptops, and cell phones on the unit is prohibited
