Description
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital, working day shifts Thursday through Saturday with experience on Siemens Espree scanners required.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with a dedicated MRI unit
- 3x12-hour day shifts, Thursday through Saturday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Saturday coverage required
- No on-call requirement
- No floating between service lines or sister facilities
- Epic EMR (experience preferred)
- Experience with Siemens Espree scanner required
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience required
- ARRT (MR) certification required
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
- SC state license required if applicable
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Additional Information
- Candidates who have previously worked as permanent staff or PRN at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible
- All requested time off must be disclosed prior to consideration; approval is based on facility needs
- Non-local candidates living within 60 miles of the facility may be considered, though non-local candidates are prioritized
- Orientation modules are completed prior to start date
- Black, teal, or grey scrubs required
- Parking is provided at no cost
- Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September
